Exhibiting a scenic series of chiseled cliffs rising 90 feet above the south banks of the Neuse River, the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park is a spectacular setting displaying the changes nature goes through over time. Formed by a shift of the fault line the Neuse River runs along, the water actually carved these beautiful cliffs through erosion over millions of years. This 892-acre park invites anyone interested in boating, swimming, fishing and hiking in a setting unlike any other. The park lies southeast of Goldsboro, in outer Seven Springs.
